What is BMI?

BMI divides your weight by your height squared. It's a rough guide - not a diagnosis - but it's useful for spotting trends over time.

BMI Categories

Underweight: BMI less than 18.5
Normal: BMI 18.5 to 24.9
Overweight: BMI 25 to 29.9
Obese: BMI 30 or greater

BMI isn't everything
