Installation Instructions

iPhone & iPad

Safari browser required

On iOS devices, you must use Safari to install PWAs. Chrome and other browsers don't support this feature on iPhone or iPad.

    Open Fast Pause in Safari

    Navigate to https://my.fastpause.app

  2. 2

    Tap the Share button

    Look for the icon at the bottom of your screen (square with an arrow pointing up)

  3. 3

    Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"

    You may need to scroll down in the share sheet to find this option

    Tap "Add" in the top right

    Fast Pause will appear on your home screen with its own icon

Android

Chrome, Edge, or Samsung Internet

    Open Fast Pause in Chrome

    Navigate to https://my.fastpause.app

  2. 2

    Look for the install banner

    Chrome may show an "Install app" banner at the bottom of the screen. Tap it to install.

    Use the browser menu

    Tap the menu (three dots) in the top right, then select "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"

    Confirm the installation

    Tap "Install" in the confirmation dialog

Desktop Computer

Windows, Mac, or Linux

Chrome or Edge

    Look for the install icon in the address bar (right side)

  2. 2

    Click it and select "Install" in the popup

  3. or

    Click the menu (three dots) → "Install Fast Pause"

Firefox

Firefox has limited PWA support on desktop. For the best experience, we recommend using Chrome or Edge. You can still use Fast Pause in Firefox as a regular website.

Safari (macOS Sonoma or later)

    Click File in the menu bar

    Select "Add to Dock"

  3. 3

    Click "Add" in the dialog

After Installation

Once installed, Fast Pause works just like any other app on your device:

  • Find it on your home screen or app launcher
  • Opens in full-screen without browser controls
  • Works offline - track your fasts without internet
  • Updates automatically when connected to the internet
  • Your data stays on your device and syncs between sessions
